We honor the word of God (all of it) as the ultimate authority in all matters of doctrine and behavior.

We honor the perfect and complete work of Christ death, resurrection, and present ministry.

We make prayer a constant focus and a top priority here at open heavens church.

We endeavor in all areas of life to live depended on the power of the Holy Spirit and to follow his guidance.

Christian Living

We emphasize becoming a disciple a lot (i.e: a fully devoted follower of Christ) and we value faithfulness and commitment to the cause of Christ and to the church family.

We encourage of zealous devotion to the things of God that some may view as a bit radical.

We were card to unleash the full potential of the church body by equipping every individual and encourage them to be responsible stewards of their time talents and treasures.

We value God’s redeeming love and saving grace and we feel responsible to promote the spread of the gospel throughout the world by every means available to us.

Church life

We believe in “team ministry” not the “one man show”

We believe that every member is a minister and honor servanthood. Everyone should be serving the needs of the church and community.

We want to cultivate a worldview of the kingdom of God and work hard to promote harmony and cooperation between Christians from other backgrounds, cultures, and traditions.

We highly value praise and worship which is often enthusiastic and jubilant.
